Rooster: "I think we need to shorten up these Command Meetings. 2 hours is way too long. I propose we limit it to an hour or 90 min max and keep the meeting to things people have posted in the Topics to Discuss channel unless there's spare time."
Ogre: "Can we establish some set amount of squadron briefing time after the JTF mission briefing ends? I didn't even have enough time to distro kneeboards this past mission let alone go through our mission brief."
As I won't be able to be there for very long tomorrow, if at all, please bring up the command changes within 102 at the command meeting.
Also, if possible. I'd like to put out my displeasure with how last Saturday was handled with the change. Now I understand things happen. However in my eyes. The planning that was put into it for my guys and effort I applied felt like a slap in the face. Because I wasn't here that day. I wanted to make sure the mission was perfect and fun for them through planning it as best as I could. Should it happen again, I have given my guys at 102 permission to not fly should they not want to upon a change minutes before. In the future. Any changes to a preset mission should be levied 24 hours or more prior to. That's all I have to bring up at the command meeting. If I cannot be there, please bring these issues up to the team. Let me know if there's anything else I can do, or if you want any clarity or elaboration on anything before hand.
