18th Aggressor Squadron
"Learn. Teach. Replicate."
Recruitment
All members of the JTF are eligible and qualified to apply for the squadron. However, pilots with an I.P. title or higher will have priority for the limited slots in the unit. Screening will be an interview with the leadership, and members will be picked based on personality over skill/proficiency. This ensures that the members of the squadron are the right fit, and can keep it professional. There is no room for ego and the goal is to make the JTF better at air to air combat. There is no room in the squadron for individuals who “feel” like they have something to prove. Open mind required.
Mission Statement
To prepare warfighters to win in air combat against any adversary. The squadron’s vision is to be respected, requested, and required as air combat adversaries. Their lines of effort include knowing, teaching, and replicating threat tactics. The 18th Aggressor Squadron operates F-5E, Mirage 2000c, JF-17, Mig-29, SU-27, SU-33, and J-11 aircraft, providing realistic, near-peer adversary air support for high-end JTF-191 training. (Not limited to specifically to these aircraft to provide the highest quality of training) The 18th plays a crucial role in the JTF-191, simulating adversary tactics to prepare fighter pilots for real combat situations. Let’s explore these core values:
Realism: The 18th strives for authenticity. By replicating enemy tactics, we create realistic air combat scenarios, ensuring pilots face challenges similar to those in actual combat. (This does not mean mil-sim, just realism in employment of tactics and instruction.)

Education: The 18th will serve as a scrimmage team, educating fighter pilots on what to expect when facing real adversaries. They impart knowledge about enemy tactics, enhancing pilots’ understanding and confidence.
Adaptability: The 18th adapts swiftly to changing threats. We continuously evolve our tactics, techniques, and procedures to keep pace with potential adversaries.
Vulnerability Testing: We the aggressors will probe for vulnerabilities in communications, networks, and defenses. By doing so, we help identify weaknesses before real adversaries exploit them. In summary:

The 18th Aggressor squadron embodies semi-realism, education, adaptability, and a commitment to enhancing combat readiness. The 18th members are sworn to secrecy, they commit to not revealing confidential information entrusted to them. Members are akin to taking an oath to safeguard sensitive knowledge, whether it’s related to tactics, mission planning, personal matters, or professional secrets. (This keeps the training dynamic for the JTF dynamic and fun) Finally, the 18th Aggressor squadron will consist of 8 active duty pilots and 4 reservists pilots. Reservist status pilots will have no bi-weekly commitment expectations, and will get last “dibs” of sorties against JTF members. (Subject to change based off interest)
Progression
Being in the 18th isn't just about seeing how many BLUFOR you can kill, its about helping the JTF grow beyond the PvE, simple AI adversaries.
In the 18th AGRS, you will start as a 3rd Class Military Pilot and as you master the threshold of teaching the JTF "a lesson" without leading things to a "air quake" match you will eventually climb the ladder to become a 1st Class Military pilot.
